About the role

As the Senior Renewable Energy Engineer on this team, you'll work across a portfolio of wind and Solar farm projects, taking responsibility for all aspects of Wind and Solar irradiation resource assessment and data analysis. You'll also work on preparing energy yield forecasts, and site surveys and supervision are under responsibility.

💼 Key Main Responsibilities

• Providing conceptual and preliminary design products for the organization and external parties.
• Energy Yield Evaluation.
• Conducting field visits with qualified individuals to assess site suitability for use with project facilities and equipment.
• Synthesizing project constraint information related to the transmission system, geology, transportation systems, available utilities, etc., into feasibility reports or map products for use by the project stakeholders.
• Tracking and resolution of engineering-related issues, constraints, and tasks.
• Developing and maintaining software and technology standards for use across the organization and externally amongst project collaborators.
• Filing permits on behalf of the project.
• Collaborate on the turbine model / PV module selection process with concept designs, technical alignment, and option selection
• Participate in design reviews to evaluate compliance with constraints and identify optimization opportunities
• Support lead and senior project engineers, as well as the other units within the Organization, with the overall planning of the project's design activities
• Develop, create, and regularly update the design guidelines to be used for any RFPs to be issued by the Organization and to be used by external co-developers
• Document relevant information gleaned from meetings and dialog with engineering and construction partners, providing research and follow-up as necessary
• Provide engineering support to the other units of the Organization to complete the project's handover to the organization's operation and maintenance function (closure construction punch list, completion of the AS-BUILT drawings, etc.).
• Prepare concept design and participate with the Consultant for a feasibility study.
• Prepare TOR and technical support in the bidding process.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance across various project stages, from design to implementation.
• Produce / review design documentation, specifications, and project deliverables.
• Apply a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles to create and deliver practical and economical solutions that meet requirements.
• Coordinate the production of documentation, specifications, and project deliverables within agreed project timeframes and budget.
• Manage the project's quality control, safety, administration/finance, and logistics by leading and monitoring the team's performance.
• Site survey or investigation and site/construction management.
• Other activities as required from time to time.

🎓 Requirement

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering;
• 3-8 years of relevant experience;
• Knowledge of the overall design and construction of wind/solar power plants is preferred;
• Proficient in Auto CAD, ArcGIS, PVsyst, WinPro, and MS Office   
• Superior organizational skills and detail-oriented to ensure accuracy and quality;
• Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change;
• Experience working in a multicultural environment is preferred;
• Ability to work within a global framework and a matrix organization;
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary and multicultural teams;
• Fluent in English is required

• Competitive salary upon experience and skills; Working day Monday-Friday From 08:00-17:00;
• Food allowance 100,000 KIP/day (Only working day), Anual Leave 15 days/year, Sick Leave 30 days/year;

• Base in HQ with traveling to sites from time to time, and on job training will be given;
