On 24-26 June 2019 Department of Energy Management, Ministry of Energy and Mines along with delegates and experts from Australia Al Ahmed-Zeki Dam Safety Expert, from New Zealand John Underhill Geology Expert and Mr. Lay PHOMMALIN who is an officer from Department of Energy and Management for Dam Safety Inspection of Nam Kong 2 Hydro Power Plant at Lamong Village, Phouvong District, Attapue Province.  All the experts had inspected Intake in order to make sure all the tools are safe. Earth Dam to follow the changing, movement and leakage. Main Dam is to check overall conditions changed system, equipments, structures, and the gate.  And also gallery was checked the pressure and the leaking of the water. Therefore, the experts also suggested to check those important points regularly to prevent all the accident which maybe occure in the future.
