Nam Emoun Hydropower Project is located in Dak Chom Village, Dak Cheung District, Sekong Province. The 20 km tunnel, 4.5 m x 5.5 m, D section tunnel, can produce an average of 460.59 GWh per year. According to the plan, the construction of Nam Emoun Dam will be completed in July 2022 It is ready to supply 220 kilowatts of electricity from the station with a length of 51 km to the Lao-Vietnam border to Dak Ta Ork station, where all of the power generated will be sold to the Electricity of Vietnam (EVN).
