The government arranged a ceremony to present medals for business sponsors after the successful national celebration to mark the 50th anniversary of the Command Centre of the Viengxay liberation forces in Huaphan Province.

The official congratulatory ceremony took place at the National Convention Centre in Vientiane last week, led by Laos Vice President, Mr. Phankham Viphavanh with other high-ranking officials attending.

The Chaleun Sekong Energy Company Limited was one of many businesses involved, which donated LAK 600 million to celebrate.  The Chairman of CSE, Mr. Chanthanom Phommany, received the Development Medal and congratulatory certificate from the Vice President, Mr. Phankham Viphavanh.
