On October 5, 2023, Chaleun Sekong Energy Company Limited held a meeting to discuss the Power Purchase Agreement between Chaleun Sekong Energy Company Limited (CSE) and Vietnam Electricity (EVN), By chairing a joint meeting between Mr. Somsanith SOUVANNALATH, Vice President of Chaleun Sekong Energy Company Limited (CSE), and Mr. Ngô Sơn Hải, Vice President of and Vietnam Electricity (EVN), which was attended by Mr. Vixay SYSOMVANG, Director of PCD and DOM Department, Mr. Hatsady SISOULATH, CSE Consultant, and Mr. Le Khac Hung, Deputy Director of EPTC along with the board.

            The meeting reported on the progress of the Nam Emoun Hydropower plant and the Huai La ngae Hydropower plant which have been built and installed100% of the machines, which expected Commercial operations date (COD) of the Nam Emoun Hydropower plant by the beginning of 2024 and the Huai La ngae Hydropower plant is in the middle of 2024.

Nam Kong 2 and Nam Kong 3 Hydropower plants will be Officially selling electricity to Vietnam Electricity (EVN) at 1MVA through a 22KV transmission line and Nam Emoun Hydropower plants at 1.6MVA through a 22KV transmission line.
