Along with the board.

Mr. Peechar Kanthamoon. Vice President and Director of Project Construction and Development and Production Maintenance, briefly reported on the Namphak project According to the NamPhak Hydropower Project, it is a project developed by Chaluen Sekong Power Co., Ltd. Which is a Lao private company. Considered a project related to the promotion of domestic energy, Be socially and environmentally responsible, helping to improve the quality of life in the communities surrounding the project.

NamPhak Hydropower Project is a dam with a catchment of 120 MW + 8MW With an installed capacity of 128 MW, the average annual generating power is 627 KWh, in 2007 started survey by KOBE (KGPC), until 2017 KOBE became an owned the project, and was developed by Chaluen Sekong Energy Co.,Ltd. Started to build infrastructure in 2021 Construction period 47 months Currently, the overall construction progress is 4.17% on average and it is expected to be able to generate electricity by October 2024.

The next day, 19/02/2022, visited the Nam Emoun Hydropower Project in Dak Chom Village, Dak Cheung District, Sekong Province, Nam Emoun is a flow-through dam, a concrete gravity dam with a total installed capacity of 133 MW, with a total construction cost of US $ 235 million, It covers an area of 462 square kilometers, with an average water volume of over 654 million cubic meters, consisting of two dams: the Nam Emoun Dam and Diversion Dam Huay Het. The 20 km tunnel, 4.5 m x 5.5 m, D section tunnel, and there are above-ground powerhouses equipped with two vertical turbines, 65.5 MW each.

From the beginning of construction in early 2019 until now, Nam Emoun hydropower project has progressed and completed 90% on average. according to the plan, Nam Emoun hydropower project will be completed in December 2022 and is ready to supply 220 kilowatts of electricity to the transmission system. from the station with a length of 51 km to the Lao-Vietnam border to Dak Ta Ork station, where all of the power generated will be sold to the Electricity of Vietnam (EVN), When the project completed, the project is expected to generate an average of US $ 32 million per year, that would be owed to the government more than 3 million US dollars per year, All of this will be an important contribution to the company to generate and export electricity and bring money into the country in accordance with government policy.

After that, they visited the main dam Nam Kong 2.3 Hydropower plant and Nam Kong 2.3 joint station in Phouvong district, Attapeu province. After signing and receiving between Project construction and development (PCD) with department of operation and maintenance (DOM) Officially in last 29/11/2022, Nam Kong 3 hydropower plant is currently is tested to generate electricity for export to the Electricite du Laos (EDL). with a total installed capacity of 54 MW, the total construction cost of 140 million US dollars, and will be able to produce 209 kilowatt hours per year, and expected to generate an average of more than 14 million US dollars per year, for all the electricity generated from the Nam Kong 3 project, it will be transfer to the joint station with the Nam Kong 2 dam and the voltage from the 115 kV transmission line will be increased to 220 kW, as a 116 km dual circuit transmission system. then connect the system to the BoE station, ready to send electricity to EVN.
