On the National Wildlife Conservation Day, 12 July 2019 at Nam Kong 2 Hydropower Plant, Lamong Village, Phouvong District, Attapue Province, there was fish releasing ceremony. On this ceremony attended by Deputy Province Governor, Phouvong District Governor, Head of Provincial Agriculture and Forestry Department, Managing Director (COO), Nam Kong 2 Hydropower Plant Manager, officers and invited guests. 60,000 fishes were released at earth dam point of Nam Kong 2 Hydropower Plant. The aims of this ceremony are: to create the balance of aquatic ecosystem and to conserve the aquatic animals in order to implement the fishery law of Lao PDR.
